In a society governed by constantly changing technology and forced by the recent pandemic, technology and society are evolving at a much faster rate than business can keep up with, and one thing is true: at the same time it represents an opportunity for innovation, technological change and development of the quarantine is extinguishing companies that fail to adapt.
With this in mind, we ask ourselves an obligatory question: can we adapt to survive?
At the present time, technology is an essential tool. It is time to reinforce and look for opportunities in digitization, which experts see as one of the clearest solutions to the difficult situation. And when faced with the question of whether this situation can have a real and lasting impact on the digital transformation of companies, the answer is yes.
COVID-19 has managed to digitize more companies than any technology. As an example, many companies that claimed that Home Office was impossible to implement, today are forced to adopt it. In most cases, companies do not have training either in the organization or in their work team related to this topic.
As a member of the creative sector and of a generation that has grown up with technology, this continuous process of change is not complicated because we have the necessary skills to face it in the best way without affecting productivity and results, however, not for all professional areas it is similar and achieving synergy between all has represented the real challenge.
When we refer to a digital transformation of the company, before implementing home office, we must work on innovation in processes, communication between different areas, and new leadership styles to guarantee the success of the challenge presented.
And all this, without forgetting that although technology is a key part of the transformation that we live and will live after this crisis, it is only a tool, people are the most important thing in companies and that will truly make a difference. So the answer is simple, we will survive.
